Mary and Jim welcome you to Shealane Country House,where we have established a fantastic reputation for wonderful hospitality, accommodation, and especially for our delicious breakfast which is cooked to order from our extensive breakfast menu in the morning. While your breakfast is being cooked you can help yourself to our self service buffet of fresh fruit salad, freshly brewed filter coffee, herbaland fruit teas, choice of yoghurts and cereals. Then as you enjoy your breakfast you can also enjoy the breathtaking 180 degree views of the Kerry mountains all the way to the Atlantic ocean in our newly constructed breakfast conservatory (open this season)or even dine outside on the veranda (weather permitting).
Our rooms are individually decorated to create a wonderful cosy relaxed atmosphere,some are finished in pine cladding which adds to the ambience, each room has wonderful sea or mountain views,which guests can sit and enjoy especially to watch the fishing boats, returning in the evening time with their daily catch. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, CD/clock radio, hairdryer, local information folder. All rates include extensive breakfast menu and vegeterians are catered for.

Take R565 off the N70 and drive to Portmagee. Cross the bridge onto Valentia Island and
drive up to the t-junction. We are the red house on the right, 2nd house after the bridge and Skellig Experience Centre. Just one hours drive from Killarney.
